Kick-off Meetup with NYPHP

Hello everyone.

With the support of thousands from all over the world, and dozens of open source presentations that are a timeline and who's who in web technology, New York PHP Community has grown to be the largest such group in the world.

In addition to monthly general meetings and the groundbreaking PHP conference NYPHPCon, the NY PHP community is also looking forward to coordinating informal social meetups through www.meetup.com.

At this first meetup, we'll discuss what people will like to see in the future, and most importantly enjoy networking with some pool, drinks and food at Pound and Pence.

Then, we'll see you on May 27th at IBM for Ruby on Rails for PHP Developers. In this talk, Avity's Stephen Robinson will provide a reality check on the Ruby on Rails and PHP cross-connect.
