Luna1878 Winter Night Market

Join us to explore the Queen Vic Markets by night! This night market is only on from July-Aug each year! I'm so excited to be apart of what is sure to be a magical night!

"This Winter the Market will come alive every Wednesday evening in an intimate celebration of the night, transforming into a whimsical winter wonderland full of roving maestros, cabaret stars and stage delights. It’s Luna1878.

Rug up and come join us for a magical night of fun, fashion, food and flamboyance. Shake off the winter blues with soulful rhythms from jazz to gypsy, and unexpected encounters with roaming performers.

Enjoy the sound of crackling fires and sizzling hot plates, serving up deliciously warming soul food inspired by exotic dishes and made by local hands, and savour traditional teas and winter drinks from all over the world.

Embrace authentic local Melbourne talent and let yourself be surprised, romanced, wined and dined by some of the region’s best independent designers, artisans, performers and chefs."

WHERE TO MEET:

Elizabeth St - MAIN ENTRANCE as pictured below.

I've put a black box around where we are meeting in comparison to Elizabeth, Therry and Victoria St (the light blue on the below map is the streets). For anyone driving and needing to park or catching any of the trams listed below this map will help you find your way to the main entrance along Elizabeth Street. You will also see an enlarged picture below of where we are meeting with an orange circle to the right of the entrance doors. I'll be there with my Newbies name tag on to meet you. I'll arrive there for 6.15pm ready for people who arrive for a 6.30pm kick off into the markets.

Any questions please comment below and I will get back to you. Look forward to seeing you there!

Monica :)

For anyone who can't see the map we are meeting outside the front of the queen vic market building on CNR Victoria and Elizabeth st. It's stop number 7 on the route 19, 57 or 59. There is a big green that says Queen Vic Markets and a bright orange cone I'll be standing next to :)[masked] if you can't find us. I've had a quick walk through and looks awesome with fire pits to sit around, a bar and live music if you don't want to walk around! :) see you at 6.30 -[masked]

Hey Everyone, really looking forward to tonight! It's been a great response! I'd recommend getting a little cash out before you arrive if you want to try any of the awesome food they will have cooking away! There are ATMs at the Queen Vic Market but they normally have quite a line up for them. We will be meeting 6.30pm and waiting no more than 15mins before heading in. It's sure to be a great night! Next Wednesday is also the last night this market is running, I am unable to host an event but if anyone still wanted to check it out I highly recommended going down and checking it out :) Any issues tonight -[masked] Mon :)

As it is already full, maybe one can open up another night market meetup the week after. I'd be highly interested, but don't know if could make it as I might be away for some snow action these days.
