We have had a lot of new members sign up lately, so I wanted to say hello and tell you a little about our group. We have been meeting in Neptune Beach for a couple of years but decided to use to
reach those who may not know about us.

Our main class is Sunday mornings at 10am with Carol who teaches the lesson of the day, then we meditate and have time for questions. Afterwards we have snacks and time to meet each other and talk more. We also have a class on Wednesday night (7:00 pm) of the same format with Cindy.

Carol Lutker, our primary teacher has been studying Buddhism for over 20 years and brings a lot of experience and wisdom to our center. Cindy Corey has been a student of Buddhism for almost 3 years and is a great meditator.

In January 2006, when I attended my first meditation class, I just thought I was coming to learn to meditate. However, what I found was not only the peacefulness of meditation but also a woman (Carol) teaching about a new way to live my life and solve my daily problems and attitudes. I could see that I had found something very special and precious, and that this class could help me find peace within myself and in my relationships.

It is my hope that others who come to meditation find it as helpful as I have. So I hope each of you will make it to a class, and see what meditation and Buddhism are all about. Our center is across from Al's Pizza on the corner of Atlantic Blvd and 2nd Street in Neptune Beach. The entrance is on 2nd Street in Neptune Plaza, next to Magnolia Properties. On Sunday mornings we hang out a large blue banner, "Meditation for Everyone," to make it easier to find.

If you have questions, please call me at[masked], just leave a message and I will return the call.
