If you are curious about Buddhism and would like to know more about its practices and teachings and how they can help you encounter the basic sanity, wholeness, peacefulness, ease, and selfless compassion that is at the heart of our lives - please join us.

You need not have any previous experience with Buddhism or meditation - the Nichiren Buddhist Sangha is for everyone from total novices to those who already have a lot of practice and experience.

We meet each Sunday to practice silent sitting meditation, followed by a Dharma talk and discussion, and concluding with chanting meditation.

Though this group is led by a fully ordained priest in the Nichiren Shu lineage (a school of Japanese Mahayana Buddhism) it is open to all Buddhists and all those who are interested in Buddhism even if they do not or have no intention of ever being "Buddhist." So if you are looking for a place to practice meditation, or you enjoy the empowering rhythm of mantra practice, or you want to delve into the whole spectrum of Buddhist teaching and how it can help free our minds and hearts - this is the place to be.
