Can the EU be reformed or is it a lost cause and it would be better to leave the EU?
The problem with the EU:
1) Poverty Creation The European Round Table of Industrialists is a powerful lobby group that has got the EU to send a directive to all EU countries that it is perfectly legal for a company in France or the UK or Germany to set up a job recruitment centre in the eastern eu countries, and offer jobs at the minimum wage in say, hungary, poland, etc but ship these workers to the UK, France, Germany. The company sacks its indigenous work force which was being paid the UK, France or German , minimum wage.
So to make it clear, countries where the minimum wage is highest are able to sack their "expensive" work force whilst they can replace that work force with people from countries with a lower minimum wage to work in those countries with the higher minimum wage. But these workers will still be paid their country of origins minimum wage!
The result is poverty for all the workers concerned. The indigenous workers are thrown on the dole and called scroungers, whilst the workers from poorer countries working at their country of origins minimum wage in another EU country with hight living costs will be working at poverty wages, forced to share rooms with each other as they wont be able to earn enough to even afford a room of their own.
Without a reversal of this cruel policy, all ordinary EU citizens will be reduced to mere wage slaves.
Its time to resist and to write to every MP to tell them this has to stop now.
Any worker who works in a specific country should be paid the minimum wage of the country they are working in and not the minimum wage of their country of origin, to stop this ruthless exploitation of labour.
