Tour at Seattle Coffee Works

Message from Sebastian: The tour is all about coffee from origin to roasting to tasting. We'll start with a brief overview of what coffee is, where and how it's grown. Then we'll take a peek at how coffee makes its way from origin to roaster into the roasting process and onto the shelf. Last we'll taste a few coffees to experience vastly different flavors in coffees from different growing regions in the world.

Even though coffee is an everyday drink for most of us, rarely do we taste coffee from different roasters side by side. So join us for a tour of one of the best local coffee roastery here in Seattle. See how the local coffee shops differ from the giant companies.

When: April 4th
Where: Seattle Coffee Works, Pike Place
Time: meet at 2:15-:230. Tour starts at 3 sharp.
Cost: Free

Seattle is known as the city of coffee, but don't waste your time at one of the million Starbucks, many Tully's or any other coffee shop while you are in Seattle. Seattle Coffee Works is a true original where the art of making coffee is still alive and well. This place roasts their own beans, and offers multiple ways to brew your own drip coffee. Sebastian - the owner / roaster, is kind enough to give us a tour of the roastery for Free. So if you are positively sure you can make it, then only rsvp for this meetup.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
