A Tour: Historic Skyscrapers

We'll meet at 9:30-10:00 at the entrance to Smith Tower. Please don't be later than 10! The tour starts at 10, and we won't be able to wait!

The tour lasts for about 2 hours, afterwards, we'll take a short walk down to Umbria Cafe in Pioneer Square for an espresso shot or gellato.

Discover the Future with a Look at the Past
Historic Skyscrapers

Discover the history of our high-rise buildings from the 1890s through the 1970s and find out how various factors influenced and inspired notable concrete, steel, and glass towers such as Smith Tower, Washington Mutual Tower, Wells Fargo Center, and the Columbia Center. This tour is approximately 2 hours. It will begin at 10am at the entrance to Smith Tower, 506 Second Avenue. The tour will end at the Columbia Center, 701 Fifth Avenue. Advance registration is not required, walk-ins are limited to space available and day-of registrations are $12. Exact change or a check is required for walk-up registrations.
SPECIAL NEEDS ASSISTANCE: All Downtown tours are accessible, call to make arrangements. Where:

    If you haven't been on this tour and is intrested in architecture then this is for you ! Make sure you dress warm.... it was very cold but very interesting!
