The Bellevue Arts Fair has been an event I have attended every year since I moved here. Unquestionably the biggest in the state. The fair itself consists of actually three fairs. The Bellevue Art Museum fair located on the first floor of their covered parking. There are also two others. One at the Cost Plus Parking lot and the other on 106th in front of the Galleria.
For those who have never been, this is not your crocheted doilies kind of arts and crafts fair. The Bellevue Art Museum exhibitors are juried. Not just anyone can attend.
Let's meet at the fountain outside of Macy's on Bellevue Way. Especially with the heat (it has never rained in the 12 years I have gone) I will be wearing a hat! I am keeping this group small to help keep track of people. Along with that we will stop at the end of aisles/sections to wait for everyone. Also, around 1pm I would like for all of us to stop for lunch somewhere. Maybe Joey's or Taphouse and try to get a place outside. Decided by the group.
Because the group is so small PLEASE come if you say you will. You will most likely be taking someone else's spot who would have wanted to go. For those who RSVP I will send you my cell phone number the Thursday prior in case you run late. Parking is in small supply. For those who can, I suggest taking the bus.
Here is some info that is just for the Bellevue Arts Fair. Hope to see you there.
