6th Annual West Side Caroling

Join P-Collective member Christopher for this annual West Side tradition! We will be meeting at Louie Fuller's with the other revelers, and go from there! Its always a great time! More details:

Spread warmth and merriment during one of the coldest times of the year. Join us as we joyfully carol through historic streets surrounded by beautiful Victorian architecture in Providence's Armory District.

Annually, the Sunday before Christmas!

Meet up at Loie Fuller's restaurant (1455 Westminster St) from 5-6pm before heading out at 6pm to bring holiday cheer to the neighborhood through festive holiday songs. There are planned stops with neighbors along the way for warm drinks and bathroom breaks, before ending around 8pm with milk & cookies at Fertile Underground (1577 Westminster St)

EVERYONE IS WELCOME regardless of any religious or non-religious beliefs.

Spread some end-of-the-year joy through song.

This free festive event is sponsored by Leadership Rhode Island, the West Broadway Neighborhood Association (WBNA), Hudson Street Deli, Loie Fuller's, Fertile Underground Grocery, El Rancho Grande, Kidoinfo.com, WestSide Stories, and The West Side of Providence.

Hi Steph. I am no authority, here, but there were some kids there caroling last year. I would just warn the parent or guardian that sometimes neighbors along the way offer spirited drinks to the carolers, so you'd want to keep any children away from that and make sure there is nothing extra in the hot chocolate for the child! They also offer unspirited drinks. Also, carolers do get separated as the crowd moves on, so the parent or guardian would need to stay tight with their child. And it does get cold for some people out there. But it's a great experience and it helped me cross off an item on my bucket list last year. So I highly recommend it. Just stay together, wear your long underwear, and have fun!

Stephanie, I'm pleased to say that the caroling is certainly a child-friendly event! There will be more adults, but a number of kids also come along. Colleen has contributed some good advice. We do meet at a nice bar & restaurant before we start on our way. The Providence Collective is actually not a formal organizer of this event (see list in description), but Kidoinfo.com is one of the sponsors. Look forward to seeing you there!

A friend of mine wanted to know if he can bring his 10 yo. and wanted to make sure it was age appropriate. Never been caroling with the group before and wanted to double check.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
