Come play tennis with Raghav, John and several other collective members on Saturday Mornings at the Moses Brown School tennis courts. We usually start playing sometime between 8 and 8:30, and depending on how many people show up (or show up late) we play until 10 or 11. After some of us go to the Lippet Park Farmers market, and sometimes eat breakfast/brunch at a restaurant around the park.
We have tennis players of many levels, so come out if you are at all interested.
See you soon!
P.S. The courts are right next to some fields with several soccer goals, and we've been thinking of playing some quick pickup games here with whoever is around (Yes we've played soccer with little kids here, and they beat us silly) :-)
Hi Elizabeth,
Slater park at 3pm sounds good. See you there, they are great courts . My cell # is [masked]. It works at all places I guess... :)
See you at slater park courts at 3 pm this afternoon.

Thank you Raghav for heads up. I was in Pv, went to mosses brown, the courts are still wet and no one wax there.
September 22
FYI - Moses Brown has started locking the tennis courts (you would need a card). So you guys would have to play somewhere else.

Sri,
I am a 4.0 (although haven't played much this summer). Do you want to try Slater Park at 3? My home number is [masked]. My cell is [masked] although it doesn't work at home.

Sorry I could not make it, it's still wet outside where I live. I think I am a solid 4.0 player, if interested in playing tennis this afternoon let me know. Either Slater Park courts or mosses brown courts are fine.

I am not coming because I am worrying about reinjuring my ankle on the wet courts. Would any solid/strong players be interested in playing later on today or earlier tomorrow if it is dry?
September 22
Also, I think I saw some people on soccer field w/tennis racquets but they left. I'm parked in a bad viewing location. Please let me know when others arrive.

I'm here early and the courts look wet and locked. There's also some workers doing something nearby. Let me know when others get here and the plan. I'll stick around.
September 22
I heard that all courts r now locked up since the school started. Is that true?

I'd love to play, but quite frankly 8:00 a.m. is too early for me on a Saturday morning and maybe for others as well. I thought you were going to change the time to 9:00 or 10:00 a.m. with the cooler weather.

Yes, Sandy, of course it is open to all! We generally have 4-6 people show up, so it is enough for singles/doubles. If we have an odd number, we just hit around or rotate.
We're generally in the last 3 courts.

Is this open to all? I think I heard about this at a recent get-together. Do enough show for matches?
