Join MCA-i and the New Media Meetup at our monthly meeting on January 18th, 2012 and meet Reps for three nonprofit organizations who need professional media services. That could be you providing those services.
Sponsored by MCAI’s Media Center for Nonprofits, we’re bringing you together with these philanthropic organizations for mutual benefit. Learn their needs and goals to see if there’s potential business for you and at the same time help them decipher how to work with professionals and set realistic budgets. Then, an expert in low-budget production shares some of the most effective ways to keep costs down and still keep quality on the screen. Bring your experience and suggestions for a professional brainstorming session. Join MCA-I for our monthly meeting. Our Panel of Nonprofits includes representatives of the HOOPS Foundation, a new sports media organization teaching kids media production focusing on basketball and sports; Frugality Nation, dedicated to rebuilding financial strength in the American Household by teaching finance and financial responsibility; and Seeds to Trees, a government grant funded program of the Santa Ana Public Library giving teens experience with business and media. As always, bring a friend and plenty of business cards Members of MCA-I pay $7.
