More detailed info will be added closer to trip
RSVPS are open. But you can only join the waitlist. When you get your train ticket E-mail me and I will add you to "yes" list. http://www.durangotrain.com/
the earlier you get your train ticket the more likely you will get to go. I spoke to the people there and they say its likely you can get a seat last minute but not guaranteed. buying early is the best bet.
Celebrate a belated Independence day by hiking into Chicago Basin and bagging 4 14'ers. The plan is either to head out Wednesday night or Thursday Morning early to get to the Silverton-Durango railroad early. train leaves at around 9 (schedule will be confirmed closer to trip) and the train reaches the trailhead at 11:30.
As with all my other 14'er trips, there will be a mandatory meeting before the trip. If you want to attend join the waiting list. Do not sign up unless you are serious. I can't afford to be having people dropping last minute on this trip. If I have not hiked with you send me an email with your experience. There will be a cost for the train.
