Nice backpack with nice weather. I had a nice time and was also glad to meet some more fellow backpackers. I look forward to our next outing!

This meetup showed how 6 hours of rain a night made the trip better. The rain never started until everybody was about to call it a night....Boy was it green up there.

Thanks to Chad, Eric, Terrie and Corrrie for some lively conversation.

I've been there many times. Great place to visit! Do you have a good map? If not, check out this one https://www.facebook.com/RecMapRedRiverandTSV It can be purchased at most stores in Red RIver, and the outdoors shops in Taos.

The road to the west fork trailhead is okay for 2wd vehicles with average clearance. Don't take your Miatta :)

I'd say practically human. He had way more composure than I'd have in close sight of a moose (judging from the pic).

Is buzz a pet? If so, please don't use an RSVP spot for them.

I have changed my RSVP to no because I am likely to be out of town that weekend. If it turns out I can join you and there is space I will sign up.
