An external frame made by Jansport. I'm not the gear guy like Eric; I rather spend my money on better inline skates and nordic ski equipment. But my stuff has always got me from point A to pt. B and back (knock on wood).
It beats the heck out of hanging around city malls. I like high lonesome places and high lonesome fiddle and banjo music to go with it.
I'd say I'm an intermediate, because I try to get by with the bare minimum of stuff and still have a good time.
Pecos in the summer, Jemez in the winter,Manzanos in the fall, and Sandias in the spring.
My thermarest, once it's inflated and under me in me sleeping bag.
I've been climbing NM peaks and Colorado 14ers with Eric Krosche since the early '90s. We are trying to climb all of Colorado's 54 14ers, and we are real close now. We try to go together, but circumstances (jobs, family) don't always allow that.
Not much participation, but I was unable to get it from suggested to a real meetup until my friend, Eric Kroshe, enabled it for me. Plus it was pretty late in the year, and early in the week which is when I had the time to go.
