Gila Trips

Hello Everyone. I am planning a 3 day about 25 mile shuttle trip in the Gila for the 9th - 11th of August. I am trying to see if there would 1) be any interest and if that is satisfied 2) which one would be preferred.

i am working around all the fire closures.

The options:

Mogollon Creek trail camp along creek 1st night. day 2 continue through Mogollon Creek to Sycamore canyon - Turkey creek and camp 2nd night at the Hot Springs. Day 3 hike out to the river trailhead and go pick up the other vehicles at the nearby trailhead.

option 2: Take Sepillo Creek to the Gila River and up to the Granny Mountain area. Camp near turkey creek or little creek. Day 2 hike to river, set up camp at river. Day three hike along the river out to the trailhead. grab some ice cream at doc campbells and head out.

Parts of these hikes will be through burn scar. The Gila is hotter and pretty rugged. Therefore this could be rated as a difficult trip.
