    It was number 53. I still have one more to go: Capital Peak. In the photo you can see Capital Peak just over my shoulder in the background. 14er season is over for me this year, perhaps I will finish next year.

    Is Capital difficult? When you plan to do it post it. It would be inspiring for us that are still just starting to see one of our fellow hikers finish them

    Capital is difficult. It is class 4 near the top. People debate whether or not it is Colorado's most difficult 14er. The knife edge traverse is infamous! You can find videos of people crossing the knife edge on the internet. When I go, I will post the trip since the backpack to Capital Lake, below the summit, could be quite lovely for the non peak baggers.
