We invite you to come and join us this Saturday, February 22nd, from 2pm-5pm at Falstaff Beer Garden(2600 Gravier Street) to enjoy a wine-tasting and braai, the South African BBQ, presented by Wines of South Africa (WOSA) in collaboration with SouthAfrican Chef Hugo Uys and artist Xander Ferreira.
New Orleans is the first stop on the 2014 WOSA- USA 'BBQ to Braai' Tour which sets out to explore American cuisine, cities and culture while promoting South African wines, traditional Braai (or BBQ) and specialty side dishes inspired by the local city. In New Orleans, feast on Grilled Creole shrimp “Sosaties”, and traditional South-African style rooster-brood sandwiches alongside a wide collection of South African wines. Tickets are just $20 for unlimited food and wine and can be purchased on eventbrite: bbqtobraainola.eventbrite.com/. All proceeds from ticket sales will benefit the New Orleans Habitat for Humanity.
