Co-ed Ultimate Frisbee - Weekly pick-up game

The rules are simple and the mood is friendly and laid back. A great social outing especially during breaks between games in the shade.

We'll meet at Lafreniere park to the right of the W. Napoleon entrance, have a quick refresher on the rules and then we'll get it going.  Feel free to bring snacks and/or drinks.

FYI.  We usually have people who show up that do not use this site.  The RSVP is never accurate.

Map of Meetup spot - red flags - spot depends on what field is open

NOTE:  Sometimes these spots are being used by other people.  In the event the spots are not available, we will try to find a nearby spot or go to the North side of the park and play in the big, open field.  (Across from the dog park)

VARIATIONS:

When we have a low turnout, we play variations of Ultimate, including "Box" (see link below).

Location has changed. Our normal spot is taken and the alternate spot is being used for a soccer tournament. We are meeting on the other side of the park, near the dog park and disc golf course.

I've always wanted to try this but do I need to bring my own frisbee? There is a special size for this, right?
