Several people just showed up, but were not part of our group. I passed on the info about meet up. Hope to give more lead time for the next trip.

Had a lot of fun. There is a trail from the camp site going south, how far it goes I don't know. Several people learned to make fire, and how to keep one going. There is one shower there along with 2 bathrooms, tables at campsites, fire ring the lantern stands have some problems. I stayed in camp site 11, Left Sunday morning about 10 am.

Sorry, but will be out of town this weekend. Really looking forward to learning about camping sites that allow horseback riding in the NO/MS area.

Thanks for the info Don. It looks like I will be going to a Mardi Gras ball this weekend so won't be able to make this one. But, I love to camp and look forward to a trip in the near future.

The end date is when you wish to leave, most of the ones will leave on Sunday. You should bring a tent and sleeping gear, any meds you need, the cost is around 13$ for a site but I think primitive camping is one dollar. I am bring stove, lanterns, cooking gear and that sort of things I have a service for 8 people. There is a bathroom and running water. This place is way off the paved road but worth the trip. If you fish it is right on Black Creek a boat ramp is close by. If you have any questions email me.
