Meet other expectant mothers!! Make new lasting friendships with others that are currently expecting in the SF Bay Area.  Share prentatal information, exercise/yoga, newborn strategies and how to prepare for your new tike to arrive... meet some new shopping partners.....hopefully we can listen to speakers or watch DVDs on various birth topics like prenatal yoga, birth plans, and ways to use comfort measures during labor. Come and discuss anything about your pregnancy or anxieties on becoming a parent!

We hope to have two loosely connected groups going, one during the week for those of us not working full time who can make weekday meetings and one on Sundays for those of us still working.  Please feel free to come to either or both as it suits you.  We also hope to get our partners involved about once a month in something fun and pregnancy-friendly (you know, middle of the day, good access to public toilets, not centred on drinking, dancing and eating uncured meats.)

Those are the main activities but we are also really open to suggestions about exercise, public speakers or other events us pregnant ladies are in a position to take advantage of, so please feel free to suggest away!

This Meet-up is constantly evolving... since we all don't stay pregnant for more than 9 months... the organization will be handed down to whomever would like to take it on at the beginning of February (I'm due in January)..... please let me know if you are interested in being my successor.
