  • Alternative Energy: ndividuals interested in exploring all forms of Alternative Energy. Discuss ways to apply technology and systems available to consumers today.
  • Car Free: Car Free individuals, and those seeking alternatives to cars. Join in plotting the removal of the automobile from our city!
  • Community Gardens: Locals who are interested in using urban and suburban spaces to create both private and Community Gardens. Discuss this great way to help out the environment and your local community by growing your own food, herbs, plants, etc.
  • Conservation: people who want to do discuss ideas, concepts and actions to preserve and protect the natural ecosystems.
  • Critical Mass: people who are enthusiastic about the mass-cycle event that shows that cycling in your city can be fun, safe and better than polluting with cars.
  • Deep Ecology: Members share the belief that earth/beings are important, and we are interested in exploring our relationship with the earth, in learning about a variety of eco-friendly topics and perhaps getting involved in some action.
  • Environment: local Environmental activists who meet to discuss environmental issues and ways to deal with them.
  • Intentional Communities: people who live in, or are interested in creating, Intentional Communities, including cohousing and cooperatives.
  • Oil Awareness: people who are dedicated to raising awareness about the peak in oil production and the inevitable decline that will follow. Discuss the consequences of this decline and the actions that can be taken.
