Excellent,
That's one of the biggest logistics problem, somewhat, solved.
'The Where'.
Now we need to coordinate 'The When'.
How is everyone's schedule, weekday, weekend availability?
As to the monitor, is it vga or hdmi?
With the right cable we can use it as a focal point of viewing...
How large of a room as to square footage?  It will reflect
upon the potential size of the meeting group, somewhat.
Ideas?..  .... .

Hi. I have an office space in dumbo we could use for a few sessions in eve or weekend. This is near first stop on the f train (york st ) in brooklyn  also near a or c   (high st)

There is conferene table & whiteboard. No projector but a 23" monitor or someone could bring one.

Well, I'd definitely like to host some review sessions. I took a similar class a while back and am interested in what they're doing and helping to review. Though I suspect the math won't be as deep for such a large class.

But I can only host a few, and I think there will/should be more demand. Anyone who is willing to host or organize some sessions can sign up and I'll designate you as an event coordinator so you can schedule meetings, and students can choose which ones are more convenient. Just send a note if you want to help.

Anyone interested in forming a serious study group to meet every week?

I really want to take this class seriously.

I expect that most people in the group are already aware, but Stanford is offering a free online course in AI that sounds pretty interesting. You can take it at two levels, one with just some minor quizzes and one with real exams. I thought that it might be useful to encourage some additional discussion locally.
Is everyone already signed up? :-)
