Classical music, modern dance, museums, etc.
I lived in Taiwan just after graduating from college, studied mandarin, buddhism, also Chinese painting (traditional plum blossoms, bamboo, etc.) My teacher, of course in mandarin kept saying to me "why do you continue to study, you have no talent for this." I couldn't bring myself to tell him I realized this too, rather quickly after I started, but really enjoyed talking with him and my vocabulary was expanding. Guess we all can't be artists!
I am interested in hosting an event. I am the organizer of the Gay Classical Music and Dance Group of New York. All are welcome to join, and we have a great first two events planned. First is Dance Theater of Harlem II at the Joyce Theater, discount tickets to what should be a great performance.
