Internationally celebrated artists-- organist and conductor John Scott, baroque violinist Monica Huggett, and mezzo Jennifer Lane-- join many of New York's most respected interpreters of baroque and classical repertoire, including the Clarion Music Society, Sinfonia New York, soprano Jessica Gould, fortepianist Audrey Axinn and Repast Baroque Ensemble, in our inaugural season.

Salon/Sanctuary Concerts offers the special chance to hear early music in the kinds of spaces for which it was intended. Sacred music is presented in the intimate Church of the Epiphany, while salon repertoire is heard in the 1799 Abigail Adams Smith Museum. Come enjoy chamber music concerts and recitals in some of the most beautiful venues on the Upper East Side!

Salon/Sanctuary is supported by the Gruson Foundation for Brain Tumor Research and Care and is a project of Gotham Early Music Scene. All proceeds after expenses benefit scientific research in pursuit of a cure.
