Your experience with mountains?

My mountaineering experience ranges from Adirondacks to Washingtons Cascades. I have done the 46 several times over during winter and summer. I continuously train to climb higher and harder with increasing goals as experienced is gained. Out west I have had success on many mountains including Rainier,Shasta,Mt.Hood,St.Helens,and Whitney. My interests and goals range from Ice climbing,rock climbing to just plain peak bagging.

What is your fitness plan?

I run generally at least 50 km a week or more. I also work the core at least 4 times a week as well as train with weights. On big planned trips the intensity grows and fitness and conditioning become priority. I will also put down alot of miles with weight added to increase endurance to handle the epic days. If you want to climb mountains successfully strength and endurance is number 1..Train, Train,Train!
