    •  As a first-timer to Web 2.0 meetup, I really enjoyed the networking part and thanks to the sponsors for food and beverages; I look forward to see you at the next event.
    •  It was a great presentation and the free food and drinks were awesome, but the background noise and constant feedback put a damper on the experience. I suggest to get an audio professional next time checking into it. It might also help if the speakers are located behind the presenter.
    •  It was not a good space for the event. The acoustics were terrible. It wasn't set up well for people to network.
    •  Busy, loud but successful event. Food and drinks were great. It was too bad there was such an amount of feedback going on, but technical difficulties happen and that's life. Great presentation of Grails, but the food being served about the same time as the presentation started really made it more difficult for those who were interested in hearing the details of the presentation. Props to the presenter who was calm and professional through all the hustle and bustle!

This was my first Web 2.0 meetup and I really enjoyed the event and the networking. Thanks!
    •  Brett rocks
    •  The sound system was bad, the content of the lecture was too technical and showing code at this hour of the day is too much. Keep in mind that most people know about the technology but not about code. Due to all of this no one payed attention to the lecture and it was missing some of the point. the previous event was very good, with great start-up ideas.
    •  Not the best of locals. More than a tad over-tech.
    •  Impossible to hear the speaker, not even really sure what he was supposed to be talking about.
    •  The speaker was hard to hear because of the open bar and he socializing. I think that the two components of the meetup should be separated so as not to disrespect the speaker who may very well have something important to say.
    •  one speaker? as much as I "love" ROR, one speaker about programming the whole site? Where's the 2.0 in that?
    •  If you are going to hold events at that space you need to fix the sound problems. I have a huge headache from the noise and feedback.
    •  I'm happy to see you outgrew another venue - I'd be more than happy to assist in your new search. Also, while I always enjoy the events ... never have a the food and open bar available during the presentations. Otherwise, everything was perfect!
    •  I liked the event. Of course there were 275+ people so noise control is tough. The food was great and I always love a top shelf open bar! Kudos to the presenter who braved the noise.
    •  Noise will be noise, but I had a great time meeting a ton of new, interesting people. I've been to many events, and am always impressed when the organizer of an event (Brent) takes their time to ask what I thought of the event, people, atmosphere, etc. Very impressed - Keep up the great work!
