Elmer's Army at LEE's LIQOUR LOUNGE Wed at 8 w band at 9pm

WHEN: 8PM Lessons 9PM Live Music Who: Elmer's Army. Multi tempo, can play FAST, but most is slow-moderate What: Free live music, free lessons, and free dancing! Bill and Shannon (Monique and Noah) will be teaching East Coast Swing, they are the best at getting beginner's dancing! Why: Fun! Parking: Free. Directly across Glenwood in Lee's lot Cost: Free. Buy a drink (only $3-4 for beer), tip George, and throw a buck or two in the 'hat' for the band. Where: Lee's Liquor Lounge, Lee's is an old working man's bar, it's perfectly preserved. All the wood is varnished, the floors are waxed, and it's spotless. This place is simple to get to. It's just across 494 from downtown proper, and roughly between the Twins stadium and the Basilica. The easiest way is turn North on 11th ST S from Hennepin, (Lee's is actually on Glenwood and 12th, which is a one way) on 11th, continue to incline to the left, there's a short bridge over 494 to 12th, and there's Lee's! HEY! Don't let the neighborhood stop your fun!!!!!!!!!! Park in the lot near the Glenwood- In view of the door, (it's easy in Winter, no Twins games), look around before exiting the car, then have someone walk you out. Easy.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
