CLIMB FOR A CURE! IDS Stair Climb for Cystic Fibrosis

Climb for a Cure!! This is an opportunity tone that tush, shape them legs and work that heart for a good cause too.
Goal: 1280 Steps. 50 Floors. 1 Cure. Cystic Fibrosis (CF) severely shortens the lives of approx 30,000 children and young adults in the US, many of whom never live through their 30s. "Currently, there is no cure. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is aggressively pursuing a cure for CF by efficiently investing in cutting edge, life saving science." You can sign up as a climber or a volunteer (less steps) Each climber is asked to raise $50. This challenge is at the impressively tall IDS Center. (Free parking is available in the ramp underneath the IDS Center.) As NIGHTLIFERS we can sign up as a Team or as Individuals. A celebration party will take place after the Climb at "Windows on Minnesota", atop the IDS Tower Ideas for "best dressed" always welcome! Awards for winners in the following categories: * Highest fundraising team * Fastest Poilce/Fire/EMS team * Fastest Fitness Challenge team * Fastest Police/Fire/EMS male climber * Fastest Police/Fire/EMS female climber * Most frequent climber * Best dressed climber This is an awesome opportunity to workout as well as give back. This is only 6 weeks away and I will be setting up a workout schedule for those planning on participating. Even if you begin the training program and do not climb you will still be ahead in your fitness goals but also body healthy. As Nightlifers creating Friendships and a Support system is some of what we have done so well at. Let's continue this trend in supporting each other in this weekly challenge and Ultimate Climb.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
