I want to start with an apology. I did postpone the May house Party to Memorial Day weekend. An event that we have been at for 3 years only happens 1 time a year and I put in on the same day. My apologies for this which has caused a rescheduling.

On Saturday, May 22nd there is the Hanger Dance. This is a great event that is entertaining, unique. This is a great event even if you don?t dance for social and fun for all.
This happens at the Gold Wings Museum in Blaine (on the grounds of the Anoka County Airport.)
Doors open at 7pm with a 14 piece band playing from 8pm until 12.
In the past we have gone somewhere nearby for dancing to DJ music.
This year there will be 6-9 groups attending with over 100 of your meetup friends. There are opportunity?s to Socialize 1940?s style. Yes, this is an event for all ages. Many people will even dress up 1940?s styles and viewing of the 1920?s, 1930?s planes as well.
We are also checking and we may be able to go early for a barbeque-tailgate pre-dance party.

Recap for the Hanger Dance:
Come out to Golden Wings Museum on Saturday May 22nd for the 10th annual ?Evening Hangar Dance?. This 1940's style "Hangar Dance" features the sites and sound of "Dave Andrew's Big Band" This 14 piece band will bring you back in time to the age of "SWING" with it's orchestra look and period song selections. Staged under the big parachute and large dance floor, this set-up is amongst a private collection of over 20 vintage aircraft from the 1920's & 30's. This flying collection is housed in a modern environmentally controlled hanger and is available for viewing throughout the evening. Refreshments are available and the doors open at 7pm with music starting at 8pm.
