Yes, I do realize that this is highly prejudicial, controversial and unexplicable odd but reality is.....I just can not be Wonder Woman in all areas, so you can just keep wondering about me anyways.
Like many it is difficult for me to admit that I can't do everything well all the time. Asking for help can be quite humiliting and defeating ....but I will not admit defeat...yet.
Ok, so I do have an issue with squirrels but the city will not allow me to fix the problem in the most timely fashion....Something about that you can't shoot guns and use squirrels for target practice. I don't get it..they have in the past built a running track on my roof edges. I shared.
So after 5 years of divorce and 3 years ago taking on a large house in NE that we have had many gatherings in, that was meant for the sounds of laughter, fellowship, friendship and support I am a bit overwhelmed. Being a full-time college student for the 2nd year to finish my associates degree in Clinical Massage, injury rehab as well as working in NE at Massage and Healing I am limiting myself to the subject matter that I want to study and learn about...(people only - Not how to make concrete..etc)
Yes, I am in need of a Pseudo Husband....a handyman of sorts that can see what needs to be done, have the strength to do it, be multi talented and after 2 1/2 years of looking I NEED REFERENCES.
Example of the types of work.
Getting car ready for winter. (Anything else besides oil change, n what about that headlight fluid?jk)
Fixing lawn mower (runs but should the blades really shake like that, though the vibration is entertaining)
Fixing washing machine. (Seems to be only on cold water so I think it is a faucet somewhere, good thing I am loosing inches with my personal training course...clothes keep shrinking in hot water)
Change bulbs (I put in new ones in one fixture and only 1 out of 3 works) but with ceilings 10 feet high I don't change them without someone else in the house anyways. Anyone want to hold the ladder?
Putting windows on basement back in with possibly painting but sealing up tight (dont want any
vermen that don't pay rent wandering the halls)
Renting ladders to seal up spots in sophets that the dang squirrels (that are not cute anymore) may be making.
Putting on glass on windows. I may have some in the garage. Apparently I missed that step in the past.
Sealing up tile in the upstairs shower
Toilet handle having to lifted so not continually running
Sealing up house and yard clean up / tree trimming
grass planting ( I dont know ...do people do that at this time of the years)
Lifting / reaching / bending may be needed.
Concrete repair as well
Oh, and outside faucet leaks.
So...not a lot but I figure somebody must know somebody that is a person of their word and shows up and can do the above tasks.
I am around in the Daytime mostly, I have day n evengs at school and work and the occasionaly meetup/social/exercise time.
The sooner some of this gets looked at the sooner we can have another party.
I need another bonfire soon, hopefully in the next few weeks.
PS No additional services on the 3rd floor will be fulfilled so don't ask...I ain't offering :) Not all services of a pseudo husband are needed.
If qualified for interview process.
