New Meetup: Scrooge's Nite Out

From: Heather

Announcing a new Meetup for The Cleveland Nightlife Meetup Group!

What: Scrooge's Nite Out

When: Friday, December 3,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Gray's Armory
1234 Bolivar Rd.
Cleveland, OH 44115

Are you a fan of balls? (Elegant dance parties, that is!) Then Nightlife's got the social occasion of the winter season for you! Presented by the Ohio Canal Corridor, the group that maintains and promotes the beautiful and historic Ohio Canal, this event celebrates 22 years of developing the Towpath Trail. Many of you who have been through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park have walked or ridden your bikes down the Towpath, and it is truly an area of natural beauty in our area.

What does this event include? Plenty! For a mere $35 admission price (if you buy pre-sale online), you get food, drinks, music, dancing, and a 50/50 raffle. That's a lot of bang for the buck! And this might even be the coolest part: it's behind held at Gray's Armory downtown, one of the oldest and most historic buildings in our city! Founded in 1837, the Cleveland Gray's were our earliest form of militia. The current building was erected in 1893, and in its heyday it hosted military balls, Vaudeville shows, and even the Metropolitan Opera. And for those of you that are fans of the paranormal, it's said to be haunted, too!

I invite you to come out and eat, drink, and dance with us. You'll not only have the time of your life, but you'll have the satisfaction of knowing your money is going to a great cause and staying local - to promote the preservation and development of this historical Ohio Canal.

For further info on what to wear, where to park, and other essentials, visit their website: Scrooge's Nite Out.
