Armida's singing and dancing extravaganza!

  • April 30, 2010 · 7:30 PM

It's been a while since we've been to Armida's and down to the south end of downtown so... Let’s meet at Armida’s for drinks and Karaoke at 7:30 and then maybe head to Sutra’s (11th and Lincoln) for dancing around 10:30. Armida’s is one of our favorite casual spots to meet and fills up fast and early. I will try to get us tables near the KJ booth. Lets get our songs in early so we can sing the night away and be ready for dancing later. smile If you haven't been to Armida's before, it's a very casual, friendly place with a small and very informal karaoke stage, a great KJ playing a huge variety of music and an outdoor patio. The food is good and they have recently expended the song list so you are sure to find something to belt out. wink Remember it's very popular and fills up quickly. We will be out on the spacious patio too if the weather is nice. There is no cover at Armida's but they have a 2 drink minimum. If we get to Surta early enough (10:30ish) there is no cover there either. We have lots of fun pictures posted from previous events there if you want to look back at our calendar. See ya Friday! Wish that everyone would have gotten a chance to sit together so we could meet more people.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
