Fun evening at the Downtown Denver Oktober fest. Great beer, lots of laughs and fantastic people watching. A great way to meet new people while wandering downtown. :) The festival will be located on Larimer between 20th and 22nd st. Look for the red balloons (or flashing bunny ears after dark) on the east side of Larimer near 21st st. Call my cell [masked]) if you can't find us. Parking is where ever you find it. I recommend looking North or East of the festival or paying to park in a garage or lot. Admission is free to the festival and you can purchase all kinds of food and bier. :) There will be live bands as well. Grab your stein, throw on your lederhosen and get ready for Denver’s 39th annual Oktoberfest! The event is one of the city’s longest running festivals and one of the largest of its kind in the nation! Modeled after Oktoberfest in Munich Germany, Oktoberfest on Larimer Street commemorates this world-famous and time-honored tradition of German heritage. The festival has truly become a Denver mainstay offering German attractions, music from national touring groups, performances by international dancers, children’s activities, the first ever Oktoberfest Denver 10K Run, a Green Village, splendid décor, and accordion concert, and authentic cuisine. Admission to the event is FREE and guests may purchase food, bier and children’s activities. After the festival we will head over to the downtown Tavern for some dancing (after 9:30)!!
