The "hilarious and irreverent" comedy of Ian Harris is coming Denver for one night only!

Ian Harris Critical & Thinking Tour. Fresh off the taping of his ground breaking new comedy TV special.... Ian Harris: Critical & Thinking is the incredibly smart and irreverent new comedy special from the brilliantly skeptical mind of Ian Harris. Armed with a wide array of characters, razor like wit and critical thinking skills, Ian skewers commonly held beliefs, taking aim at such topics as Religion, Ghosts, The Paranormal, Comforting Notions, Astrology, Pop-Mysticism, Alternative Medicine, Racism and Apocalyptic Claims. It is easy to see why Ian immediately elicits comparisons to George Carlin and Bill Maher.
“... hilarious and irreverent! A secular hero for free speech.”
-Felicia Davis, Atheist Alliance of America Convention Steering Committee
“...smashing political correctness and New Age idiocy with his tools of the trade: Occam’s Razor, skepticism, and a keen eye for absurdity.”
-Benjamin Radford, author, CSI Research Fellow, and deputy editor Skeptical Inquirer science magazine

Originally a San Francisco Bay Area comic, Ian has been a top headliner for years, touring nationally as well as a staple on the L.A. alternative comedy scene for years. Winner of many major competitions, he has been seen on Jimmy Kimmel Live,  Comedy Central and was ranked #25 on Entertainment Journal's Top 100 Comedians list.
If you are a fan of clever comedy with an edge, don't miss this unique opportunity to see the comedian who has been dubbed,
"the punk-rock, wordsmith of comedy".

I enjoyed the evening and meeting new peps! Wasn't Fonseca fun! I have seen him on TV before and he takes his disability to a new level! I knew Homes would be controversial but I did twish he would have stopped all the Christian bashing and more on. Oh well..... I needed some great laughs! Garnett

Dear Ian, As a woman of deep faith, it was a little hard to listen to so much bashing. I do deeply believe in God and it is apparent that you do not. Fonseca pokes jokes at himself. your humor was directed at others expense. I think that's why we had such a disconnect. you do have an audience it enjoyed your work. many blessings in your career. Thanks, Garnett. I feel you and greatly appreciate your thoughts. My comedy is about the things we all believe that are fact or evidence based. That is my entire act. Science based comedy or comedy skepticism. As comedians our jobs are to look at the world and make observations that are humorous and often make statements about society to make people think a bit and even question things or see things from a new perspective, and do it in a way that we can all laugh at ourselves. This is why I try to hit all beliefs that are unsupported by evidence and often harmful (like not vaccinating our kids). I thought my closing bit summed that up well. We all like to laugh at others, I. E. laughing at Chris's self depreciation, or at people who believe in Bigfoot or Muslims, etc. But my point is to point out that all of our beliefs are as absurd to others as theirs are to us, so maybe we need to think about ours or at least be open enough to laugh at ourselves the way we laugh at others.

The comedians were SO funny and spot-on. I've honestly never seen a comedy show where I agreed with the comics so much--it was wonderful. Thanks for arranging such a great show!!!
