Thank you to those of you who have RSVPd Yes or No for today's Summer Soul Happy Hour, especially to the considerate drinking buddies who've taken the time to update their RSVP when their plans changed.
Check out the Summer Soul Happy Hour meetup for details and/or to RSVP.
When: Tuesday, August 30,[masked]:30 PM Concert 6 PM until 10 PM (dinner reservation is for 6PM)
Where: Boston Harbor Hotel 70 Rowes Wharf Waterfront Boston, MA 02110 (617)[masked]
Details: Join us for the final Summer Soul concert of the Summer in the City Series at the Boston Harbor Hotel. The World Premier Band, local Boston musicians, perform the music of the 90's and today with funk, dance, originals and R&B. They'll play two or three sets between 6 PM and 10 PM. I believe their high energy level is so infectious...you will be moving in your seat if not on your feet. So, before you go to or come from home, the gym, work, dinner, or wherever, meet up with a few drinking buddies for a minute or two or three or four or more...however long you're able.
You MUST let me know before 4PM, if you want a seat at our 6 PM reserved table by replying to this message or text/call my cell (617) 445-7549. You will need to purchase at least an appetizer if you wish to be at the table. Check out the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille menu.
You're more than welcome to enjoy the concert from the perimeter of the restaurant patio. At 5:30, I will coordinate a meeting spot and you will know us by our peace sign stickers.
The weather is expected to be ideal for hanging out on the waterfront however should it become inclement, the party will most likely move inside to the Rowes Wharf Sea Grille Restaurant.
By the way, anyone attending a Summer in the City event may enter the drawing to win a complimentary dinner at the Boston Harbor Hotel restaurant.
Check out MBTA or Hop Stop to create your route by public transit. Aquarium (blue line), Haymarket (green & orange lines), State (orange & blue lines), Government Center (blue & green lines), and South Station (red line & commuter rail). These subway stations are no more than a fifteen (15) minute walk.
You'll find me with purple sparkly peace stickers on a white shirt.
