Theatre Momentum presents ELEMENTS (free improv show!)

Saturdays, 8 PM
April 13-May 18
Theatre Momentum Studio (1800 W. Cornelia Ave.)
The studio is located in the Cornelia Arts Building, two blocks south of the Addison Brown Line. There is free parking in front of the building for 8 cars.

Join us at Theatre Momentum's newly renovated studio space for the FREE performances of ELEMENTS, opening April 13th.

ELEMENTS builds a one-act play on the foundation of individual narrative and character elements supplied by the audience. The performance itself will be indistinguishable from a scripted play.

Hailed as "a worthy alternative to what you'll find at improv mainstays such as i.O. or Annoyance," Theatre Momentum creates original works of instant theatre. Theatre Momentum is theatre that happens to be improvised.

Featuring: Corinne Amanda, Ali Barthwell, Ren Bautista, Gabe Caruso, Colin Hudson, Hannah Huey, Johnny Kalita, and Jason Pelker.
Directed by Tony Rielage, Artistic Director

Reserve your FREE tickets:  Reserve tickets

Please note: Seating is limited, so your seat is only guaranteed if you reserve your seat through the link above. RSVP'ing through meetup does NOT guarantee your seat.

Can't make it to opening night? No problem! There are 5 more performances of ELEMENTS, and 6 performances of Element's sister show, FUGUE, which runs on Friday nights.

ALL Theatre Momentum's shows in 2013 are 100% FREE, so please join us!

    It was interesting and creative.

What a great time! I had low expectations, because it was free - i figured it was people working on their stuff.

Boy, was I pleasantly surprised! First, it was drama. It's good to see good drama. Second, I figured it was all scripted and rehearsed. I didn't know until the end that it wasn't.

From talking to the actors, it's a different kind of improve - not Second City-ish at all.

Some nights are more drama, some more comedy. I'll be back next Saturday.

And the Friday night group is different, but similar.

I suggested they charge 3 bucks, but that's up to them.

And the post event drinks at the bar were lotsa fun too.
