Learnapalooza this Saturday! FREE!

Hey, everyone! Learnapalooza, Chicago's only FREE festival of learning. I've taught at this festival a few times, and have taken some classes, too, and it's always a blast. I hope you can make it out for some of the great free classes!

Here's the details:

The Learnapalooza Festival is a community-building event offering free workshops and classes lead by volunteers and hosted by local businesses.

Now in its fourth year, Learnapalooza expanded into the Lakeview neighborhood in 2012, and will continue to grow in 2013 by adding a third location in Logan Square. The festival has experienced continued growth with increasing attendance and class offerings each year.

Our mission is to foster free, creative exploration by providing Chicago neighbors the opportunity to exchange skills and learn from one another in a setting that supports the foundation of new and interesting relationships.

But Learnapalooza isn’t only about spreading knowledge and creating a learning network; it’s about strengthening and developing communities to foster an environment where people will continue to interact.

To sign up, you MUST go to the Learnapalooza website- that's why RSVP's are turned off here. They have limited space in each class, so sign up quick!

P.S. These events occur all over Wicker Park. I just put the Silver Room because that's where my class is happening and meetup requires a location.

this sounds like a great event, but do they offer anything to eat or drink, or do you have to buy your own stuff, should you want to stay all day. the events about cooking and food, sounds good.because that is something that i truly enjoy.
