So excited to finally offer this Master Class, and the last event for 2013, too! Nino Batista Workshops created the Studio Glamour Method in early 2013, and now it's back with the Studio Glamour Method: Ultimate Glamour.

We will be demonstrating and letting you shoot on 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 light setups for ultra-glamour and hyper-real shots right in your camera. Lighting tips and tricks, intense camera and lens discussion, question and answer, and hands on shooting with pro-grade models.

Day 2 is a detailed overview of my Photoshop retouching techniques.

Your model for the event is the incomparable pro touring model Heidi Fahrenbach from Chicago, plus some other surprises in the realm of attending models. This 2 day class *will* make you a better glamour photographer and retoucher, guaranteed. And dude it's gonna be SO much fun too!

Class will be given by me and co-mentored by ETImagez Photography.  On hand to assist with setups will be Newlife-Photos.

If you've ever wanted to experience a full tilt, pro grade glamour studio session, this is your chance. You will leave far more advanced than you walked in!

$250 for the weekend, includes both days of course.  The times are 12:00 noon on Dec 14 and 10:00am on Dec 15.

Everyone shoots, everyone learns, everyone has a killer time!  More model announcements to come!

What to bring:  Your camera and favorite lenses.  50mm, 85mm or 100mm primes are recommended.  But whatever you have, we can make work!

NOTE: All Nino Batista Workshops events are listed on Meetup.com, our Facebook Page and other online venues.  Open spots for photographers are adjusted here on Meetup.com as they fill up, and spots can be filled in several ways.   If you see "0 spots left" and only "2 attending", for example, it's because spots were filled by photographers who contacted us directly from another source!

Nino's classes are always very well organized. He has access o to some great models with pleasant personalities, and Nino himself is very knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions. I would highly recommend his classes.

Nino is an excellent instructor, explains the lighting set ups and ratios. His workshops are first class both as to models and studio. Always learn something new and always leave with outstanding images. Hard act to follow.

Also, I thought I saw something a few days ago about a second Model. I do not see her listed on this page.

    • Nino B.

Yes, the second model is Sammi Anderson from Dallas.

Nino what do you mean by 4,5,6,7,8 lighting setups? Do you have each of your lighting setups numbered? And if so, which numbers did we cover in Studio 101 Lighting Class #2 on October 11th?

Not at all! I literally mean using 4 to 8 lights on a set. :) And everything in between. The point isn't just MORE LIGHTS, but to show you what is possible and also some cool tricks. :)

What are the actual times for the class? Is it 2-hours each day?

Not really telling me how long the classes are.

      4 hours each day, Karl!

How much experience do you need with Photoshop for the retouching class. I use Element and the Clone tool and Healing tool, and adjust lighting. That is basically all I know.

As a primer in Photoshop retouch, no, that's not what this class will be about. However, if you have basic knowledge of retouch steps, and it sounds like you might, you should benefit from Day 2 of this class. I would call Day 2 of this master class an "intermediate to advanced" level retouch training thing. :)

Are both days strictly shooting?...no photoshop training?

    November 15, 2013

    • Nino B.

Sorry, Tommy, I wasn't clear in the description: Day 2 is the retouching portion of the class. I've added that to the description now - thanks!
