Electro-Jam Session

Up for a jam? Bring your laptop, synth, groovebox, or Theremin -- as long as it can flow noise out a cable. We'll have a mixer and sound system, so bring some cables and adapters. Stereo quarter inch will probably work best, but if you've got spares (RCA, mono, etc.) please bring them along just in case. Also, consider MIDI cables for syncing up with a neighbor. This will be a 100% improv experiment in electronic sound creation -- no rehearsing required. All levels welcome -- i.e., if you can hold down a key and/or twist a knob, you're in. We usually go till around 9pm. Hear you there. -Scott > $5 charge is to offset room rental fee. > The entrance to Music Together is in a small courtyard just off Valley Rd behind Alan@594 restaurant.

What a great night! Loved jamming with everyone, we had some great sounds going. The duos were fun and I would like to try this again.

It was great to see new faces, I hope everyone continues to come to the meetups.

it was fun, everyone respectful and positive, and we all shared how we made various sounds. Scott had the good idea to stop the jam after a while and have the rest of us improvise in duos, which gave us a chance to see what everyone was into.
