Meet at upper lot at Sheppard Pond
Anyone want to mountain bike? This will be an intermediate ride. This will be a hard ride!!!!!! I wanted to go to Ringwood which has very ruff terrain. The terrain is rocky, a lot of uphill, mostly single track, and there will be areas where there is a small path and a drop on one side. The views are beautiful. You can walk the bike in the more technical areas. The pace will be steady but we will rest when needed. The ride is worth the pain. Remember pain is weakness leaving the body. It will be a great ride. The whole mountain bike ride will be about 3 hours, more or less and about 14 miles. I don’t want to leave people behind so if this is your first ride of the year this may not be for you. If you have been riding off and on but keeping in good shape, the ride will be good. It will not be a beginner ride. We will take the Skyline Trail to the red tail then to the school house. I want to meet in the parking at Shepard’s Lake 10:30. I drive a black Honda Civic 1999 with a roof rack. For GPS users here is the best coordinates 50 Morris Rd, Ringwood NJ. Here is the web site www.ringwoodnj.net . See you soon,
Rain day Sunday
CAUTION: You Must have a Helmit
I am not a first responder or have a CPR certification. You are responsible for your own actions, by saying yes to the ride you are taking on your own risk. Mountain biking takes a lot of energy and tends to push the body. If you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or any other problems that may put stress on your body, please speak with me before this event or ask your doctor. Even though it is an easy ride, it can be taxing on the body.
I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
