Beginner Intermidate Mountain Biking and Drinks at Famished Frog

Are you up for a great beginner, intermediate ride with moderate hills . this is a rocky or rooty place. this is a nice place to mountain bike ride. The ride will be taxing on the body check with Doc. No one will be left behind. You will need a bike with at least front suspension. we will ride at a slow pace were we will wait at trail crossings and top of hills. 1.5 hours at a mild pace. Then we will go out for drinks in Morristown at the Famished Frog

CAUTION:  You Must have a Helmit

I am not a first responder or have a CPR certification.  You are responsible for your own actions, by saying yes to the ride you are taking on your own risk. Mountain biking takes a lot of energy and tends to push the body.  If you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or any other problems that may put stress on your body, please speak with me before this event or ask your doctor. Even though it is an easy ride, it can be taxing on the body.

Lots of traffic around this area. leave as early as plosible, want to ride at 6:30 and be done at 8 for food. Thanks

Hey guys. Just pulled 2 ticks off of myself. Please check yourselves (or each other ;-)) so that the bear was still the biggest danger rather than Lyme.

Stuck at work, wish I was on the trails. Also, every Wednesday we meet at the same place at 6pm with the New jersey mountain bikers. Have fun!

Dear Manika and Jo, if the plan is this Friday to so the same trails I've done before then a hybrid will not e sufficient. A friend of mine joined us there before with a pretty decent hybrid and the friend was experienced but couldn't keep up with me as a beginner. Especially after the rain we've had these days it will be additionally challenging. Hopefully you can arrange a mountain bike still or replac the hybrids's bike with real mountain bike tires as grip is what one needs there. I hope the event organizer can answer as well as I'm just a participant.

No problem, I think I concluded this is strictly for mountain bikes with front suspension and not gonna risk joining with a hybrid bike.
