Thanks for leading a great, challenging hike, Rodney! What could be more delicious than hot soup in the snowy woods when its 20 degrees. Thanks also to the other hikers who helped me correct some rookie equipment mistakes.

Hi, not sure if I should be going on this hike, it's been a very very long time & I don't have any "extra" equipment. I'd like to give it a try, but I'm concerned I might slow you guys down. I live in the Clifton area and am driving. Still not sure if I am up for this hike. Any words of advice?! Thanks :-D

this wouldn't be a good hike for you if you haven't hiked in a while.

Weather forecast calling for snow. How will snow affect hiking on Harriman trails?

I would suggest hiking poles and gaiters for the snow if anything. Microspikes if you have the although the depth of the snow will dictate how useful they are

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
