SUNDAY AFTERNOON at The Clairidge: "Hijack this Meetup Event"

I'm home nursing a very sick dog and cannot do this. Someone feel free to edit it and make it your own.

MY FLICK PICK is: "To be Announced"

WHY?: The reason I've chosen this movie.

SYNOPSIS: Rotten Tomato says ...

RT's short review.

Film Description.

RATE THE MEETUP: Don't forget to rate the meetup after you attend it! Please check all five stars if you enjoyed yourself since it will help us to attract sponsors - so please be generous in spirit. And remember, you are rating the EVENT - NOT rate the MOVIE. You can have a great time with us and still not love the flick!

While it's great if we can hook up in the lobby beforehand - what matters most is hooking up in the lobby AFTER the film. Just look for me or a small group of people and say "Hi", don't be shy. Let me know you showed up - I LOVE to meet everyone in person!

The whole point is to TALK about the film, right??? So, depending upon the size of the group, we usually pick a nearby restaurant or cafe and tromp on over there en masse. We really do have some great film conversations and get to explore the film even further than we normally would.

Hope to see you then!!

Roy, it takes long because this isn't my job. It's something I do for fun, when I'm not inundated with work or other obligations. Today I am home with a very sick dog. If you want to go see a movie - just go to a movie.

I pay to be an organizer and I don't get paid to do this. You don't pay a cent to be a member here. I put the Sunday movie meetup as a place holder. I've said, over and over, anyone can create a movie event here. Do it.

Roy, what I don't understand is the why there is such a feeling of animosity and defensiveness on behalf of the organizer. I agree with you; if there is a meet up, I also think there should be some more information provided or the site shouldn't exist. Just saying.

Don't understand why it takes so long announce the film being seen when the schedule is out early in the newspaper on Friday and on the Moviephone app. I think this an inconvenience to film buffs who visit the Claridge frequently.
