This trip had it all with a beautiful campground, dozens of Bald Eagles and so many nesting osprey...a birders paradise! A wet and wild Potomac paddle with rain and white caps and a lazy summer-like paddle , beach combing for sharks teeth! Way too much fantastic homemade foods, dancing, (yes, dancing!) the biggest campfire I've ever seen, Vanessa's first Smore' and everyone's cheeks and bellies hurt from laughing! Oh, and can't forget the Caterpillars and their presents!
Paul, thanks for setting this trip up, for leading us, seeing that we were fed well and many, many extras you provided! And can't thank my friends enough for all you guys did to make this happen and so much fun!!

I am definitely interested in this trip. I just want to confirm that the visit to the ghost fleet is taking place friday night? Just figured out if we'd have to take a full day/half day off from work. Thanks :)

Jamie. The posted start time is for when we can meet Friday night. We are paddling out to the Ghost Fleet on Saturday morning. I hope this clears up any confusion.

Please note: the date has been changed to May 9th due to a family conflict. I trust this does not inconvenience anyone, If you plan on going, RESERVE your site NOW. There were only 6 sites available for that date, so don't wait until the last day to reserve.
