Hi all,
I know it's on short notice, but SpringSource contacted me to organize a session together with Peter Ledbrook, the famous Grails support engineer who knows literally EVERYTHING about the Grails internals. So if you have any questions about Grails, this is your chance. Peter Ledbrook wil give a training for SpringSource. There are still some spots left, so register here if you are interested: http://www.springsour...
Peter will give a presentation about Gradle, followed by a Q&A session. So if you have some urgent questions about scaling Grails, testing Grails, the upcoming features of Grails 1.2, or any other pressing matters, do not hesitate to ask them!

Well Grails vs Scala is not really applicable as scala is a language and grails a framework :-) , there is even a scala plugin for grails.
As a plugin developper I would like to hear some golden tips from Peter !
Log in to Meetup with your Facebook account.
Maybe Peter can tell us something about the interenals of the upcoming 1.2 release, what's new / different. Also in relation to Spring 3.0?
Of course some info on real world Grails projects would be nice too.
And maybe, to play the devil's advocate, Peter can share his view on Grails vs. Scala... What are the similarities, the differences, when to use which language, etc.
Then again... anything Peter thinks is worth telling I'm willing to listen to ;-)
