Hypnosis/NLP study Group Scheduled

Hi folks,
My name is Keith Livingston. I run an NLP/hypnosis study group (for pros and non-pros alike). Since Michael decided to step down from organizing this meetup and I already run a group, I thought I'd step up and combine things.

So...

Here's the scoop. The next meetup is scheduled for Saturday, April 4th @ 1pm. We'll be covering how to do "uptime trance." It's a really cool, really useful trance in which you can still talk, move and generally look like you're conscious. It's good for anytime you need to take in a lot of information or keep track of a lot of different things. I use it when I'm presenting or when I'm learning.

We'll also cover whatever else you want to cover. Just shoot me some suggestions and I'll add them to the mix if there's time.

We're either going to hold it in Magnolia or Fremont. I'll send out the location as soon as it's confirmed.

When: April 4th, 1-3:30
What: Uptime trance and more...
Where: Fremont Public Library (downstairs)

731 N 35th St
Seattle, WA 98103
(206) 684-4084

In looking through the members of this meetup, I see a lot of familiar faces. In case you'd like to learn more about who I am, you can read some of my hypnosis and NLP ramblings on my blog...

See you on the 4th,
Keith

PS: Michael White ran this meetup group for a couple of years. I was only able to attend once but I liked the people I met there. Hats off to Michael for putting in his time and effort and making his space available for that time!

I really enjoyed April's meetup and learned a lot. The subject - uptime trance - was one I'd read about, but never grasped how exactly to get there. Keith's instruction was top-knotch, and not only did I learn how to do uptime trance, but also learned a lot of reasons to use this state every day.
    •  I felt like at home with the people that attended. It's very powerful to be with likeminded people. I learned a lot and it was lot's of fun. Keith was working with people giving them what they were asking. I will be back for the next meeting.
    •  We covered how to do "uptime trance" with three separate techniques: Through expanding sensory awareness in 3 dimensions, through timelines and through a DHE style control panel where we had a control for level of trance and a control for internal/external awareness. Uptime is a reasonably deep level of trance combined with mostly external awareness. We did exercises for each so folks could experience uptime for themselves.
    •  Dear Keith, This was my first time at the meetup and was amazed at the generosity and skill with which you conducted the class...and all for FREE! WOW! Why didn't you charge at least a nominal fee of $10-15? In any rate, thank you and thank you, it was great and I learned a lot! See you on FR.
    •  Excellent! Keith is a great teacher. I enjoyed trying out each technique.
