I'm back, baby.

It's been a while so let's start with a doozy.

==================

Parts Therapy: April 28th

Almost any time there's a habit that's difficult to change, it's because people have conflicting motivations. People smoke because they enjoy it but want to quit for their health. People want to exercise but enjoy relaxing instead. People want to stop biting their nails but it helps them relieve the tension.

Parts therapy is a powerful model and set of techniques to deal with those situations. Plus it's really cool. You should learn it.

Note the time--we're going to start @ 3:45.

Put it on your calendar now

    Remarkably useful practical demonstration by Keith on NLP. Extremely beneficial as therapy and as a master class. It is not possible to fake this high level of skill in public with a previously untreated volunteer. Keith clearly explains the context and the steps and the cues for his therapeutic work, and how he individualizes the protocol.

    I took a lot of notes and I learned a lot about my own subconscious metaphors as NLP subject. This one session definitely proves the validity and effectiveness of NLP Parts Therapy in real time and on video. In particular it shows how someone can learn to access and understand and harmonize different and conflicting motivations to become a more integrated and functional person. A big win all around.

    Thank you, Keith, for a great presentation of Parts Therapy. It was so helpful for me to see the demo...the sequence, the surprises, the emotionally moving pieces, the bits that took me to my edge. What a gift.

    Great job as always Kieth. Though I have had Parts Therapy training before it was nice to review and always pick-up something new or forgotten.
    All in all my parts enjoyed your parts!

    Loved Keith's presentation. Liked his comment,"our job is to give the client emotional resources. Get them in the right emotional state then connect the state to the emotion.We do not solve the challenge we help them to come up with their own solution.
    Found it interesting how he picked the right volunteer for the parts therapy demonstration.
    Would love to have had a chance to practice the skill with someone in the group. Would have liked a quick stand up and stretch break after one hour.
