Connect with students and faculty from the UNM School of Engineering as well as local entrepreneurs, investors and innovators for the first in a series of connections events that will run through 2014.

The program will change monthly, but each month will provide activities and or talks designed to help the players in our tech/biz/innovation scene connect and create new opportunities.

This month we'll hear from co-hosts at VergeFund and Eric Renz-Whitmore, NMTC Community Manager about the Startup Weekend experience. Come, have fun and connect!

It was a blast last night. Props to everyone who played the "Startup Pitch" game. I'm definitely looking forward to the next one.

Thanks! Blame my team... I was just the pitch man. But, sadly, I don't think Red Bull is going to buy it. ;)

Good crowd from a few different groups and worlds tonight. Thanks to UNM School of Engineering, New Mexico Technology Council, co-hosts at Verge Fund, and the Art Bar by Catalyst Club.

So, clearly I was unable to make it but if anyone has interest in adventure tourism, I have an idea to shake up the industry and I need people that know web design for both the front end and back end. I've been using Twitter Bootstrap so far. Let me know if you have interest!

I might not be able to make it if I get stuck at work, but I'm going to make every effort to attend. I look forward to meeting everyone!
