Saturday six

Hello all,
Are you up for the challenge?
The premise is simple. Meet on Saturday at 9:00 a.m., a writing prompt will be given, and each participant cranks out six hundred words in two hours. We'll spend the last hour reading the work. No critiques just positive reinforcement.
To motivate people to get up early and write there will be a prize each session. The criteria for winning will be on how well you stuck to the writing prompt. To be eligible to win you must write a complete short fiction piece of at least six hundred words and agree for it to be published on http://www.coalreview.com. After you've taken time to edit and polish it of course.
The winner gets a $25 gift card of their choice.
Topic/phrase and prize winning criteria will be announced at the meeting.
Looking forward to seeing you,
Kari

Another enjoyable exercise and everyone wrote good stories. We had five people, there was a sixth but she couldn't stay for the whole challenge. I'll continue to make an effort to attend this worthwhile challenge.

Word count is obviously easier on a laptop... the minimum is 600 words

Hi Kindra- That will give you enough time to come and write for the 2 hours, but you will miss the reading and voting. If that's ok with you, it's ok with us. We'd love to see you!

I have to leave at 11 for work, but I can make this meeting. This is my first time attending, so I'm not sure if that'll work for you guys.

I may be bringing a guest, but I certainly plan to be there.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
