Hack Night!

We're mixing it up this month and doing hack night.

Have a project you're working on? Bring it with you and ask for help from your fellow members.

Just getting started with Node? No problem, we're here to help!

Not sure what to do?  That's cool, we'll have a couple of NodeDC-related ideas you can hack on.

Pizza and drinks will be provided by Social Tables!

See you there!

Unfortunately I got to this event entirely too late and couldn't get in the building. Next time!

Avery, sorry we missed you and my "foolproof" late admission system let you down. Really hope we do see you next time

My name is Avery, and I am a JavaScript developer. I'm interested in learning about how some of you handle decentralized JavaScript teams and workflow, while keeping your code secure.

Hey everyone, I am fairly new to the D.C area, I am a full stack JS dev. I am bringing my own project to hack on, and if anyone dosnt have anything, or is interested in learning what Im going to be working on drop me a line and Ill share the repo with you ahead of time. Im also newbie friendly, so if anyone just wants to connect up, get some 3rd party point of views, or maybe even get a quick hello world for web apps in node, ill be willing to help out any time during the hack night.

    MyStack of Choice:
    - NodeJS
    - Express
    - socket.io
    - mongoose.js
    - Angular
    - MongoDB
    - ElasticSearch

I am interested in hacking on any of the above topics, i use them everyday. :)

Hey, I'm trying to jump industries... unfortunately my years of experience designing submarines can only be used one place... but I'm way more passionate about web development / technology (hence the eventual jump). I'm new to node, but want to learn and need a project. Recently I've been working a lot in angular and before that, jQuery. If you need help with something, let me know. It's easier for me to learn when I have an end goal to work towards.

Hi, I've been a freelance dev for several years and have gotten interested in node the last couple months. I'm looking to hack on building a native standalone app, possibly with the google app framework. I'm also on the look-out for a gig, this is my stuff: aliencom.net
